Don't like zombies? Too bad. They're more than likely going to continue to be all the rage for several more years. You can't watch TV, browse the web, or even play games on Playstation or Xbox without seeing zombies somewhere. Perhaps the first game to tap into this scene, however, was Call of Duty: World at War from Treyarch. This title marked the first time a zombies "mini" game was included with the first-person shooter. The Black Ops titles gained a significant fanbase in part because of the zombies mini game.
In late 2015, Treyarch released Black Ops 3, the newest installment of their popular franchise. It, too, has a zombies mode gamers can play. The main zombies map included with the game, Shadows of Evil, is ginormous, challenging, and loaded with secrets. It's a 1940s-style city with tons of space, hidden rooms, and more. The storyline follows four characters - Nero, Jessica, Vincent, and Floyd - through their troubled backgrounds and how they wound up in the dark city that's been taken over by zombies. Call of Duty Black Ops 3 Zombies Mode
While this new undead title plays very much like the zombies experiences seen in its predecessors, the other two Black Ops titles, there are a few new elements as well.
There's actually a defined leveling system with ranks and unlock rewards now, just like the MP side of Call of Duty. As players play through the game they obtain experience which helps level up their character and even unlock new items such as Gobblegums and weapon kits. Call of Duty Black Ops 3 Zombies perks list.
Another new thing players will encounter in the BO3 zombies experience is Gobblegum. Gobblegum are, you guessed it, gum balls that can be consumed. Once eaten, they provide temporary buffs to the player that, in many cases, help you by enhancing your abilities. Gobblegum is found in gum machines hidden in special areas of each map.
The zombies experience in BO3 can be played solo or approached strategically with a team of players. If you opt to play alone you'll find that it's fairly challenging and requires you to pace yourself and really keep a level head at all times. It's much easier to play with a group of people that know what they're doing and can help you stay alive if and when you take a dive.
If you want to reach zombie stardom by hitting high level rounds you'll definitely need to practice quite a bit and figure out a plan that works to stay alive, rack up points, and keep trucking. Players can develop their own strategies as they learn the game or they can check out tips and tricks that others have published in articles or videos. Also, remember that your strategy will differ if you're going it alone or diving in with other players. Go to www.codwatch.com for more information.
For now, we have a total of two maps to play in zombies. These are the original Shadows of Evil map and the bonus map, The Giant. The included map, Shadows of Evil, is available for play to any and every Black Ops 3 player. The Giant, sadly, didn't come packaged with every copy of BO3. It was made exclusive to higher-end copies such as the Juggernog and Hardened editions. Don't worry, though. Treyarch is planning to release even more zombies maps in the upcoming DLCs.
If you're not a fan of player-versus-player action or completing the campaign mode, zombies is definitely fun and interesting in BO3. You'd be surprised at how many people actually buy the Black Ops series of games with the sole intention of playing through the zombies content.

Ushering in a New Era of Call of Duty - Black Ops 3 from Treyarch
BLOPS 3 will be the Call of Duty game releasing in 2015. BO3 was created by the popular development team known as Treyarch and will feature characters with technological upgrades. The storyline explains that humans are having implants installed into their bodies to improve certain aspects of themselves. Additionally, the military has developed and put into use weapons that are a bit more advanced.
Black Ops 3 isn't as far-fetched as the Exoskeleton-ridden gameplay seen in Advanced Warfare, but it definitely exceeds the technology and abilities that players had in previous titles of the series. Treyarch has revamped the game's movement system, adding in boosts and other enhanced maneuvers, but they aren't as wild as the flying acrobatics players are able to achieve in Advanced Warfare. Plus, players will get to field test a whole plethora of new guns - check out the full Black Ops 3 weapons list for details.
Not impressed by being able to pull off boost jumps and extended slides? Perhaps having super abilities and access to high-powered weaponry is more your style. To spice up the online battles Treyarch has introduced Black Ops 3 specialists, a class-based system which allows players to select a unique character that can use either an advanced weapon or a powerful ability once the player has acquired enough super energy. Players can choose to use a weapon that change the tide of battle in a few short moments or use one of many abilities that allow them to pop out of sight, teleport back to a previous position, and a lot more.
A lot of long-time Call of Duty fans have been disheartened by the look and feel of titles like Advanced Warfare and Ghosts. Some have even given up on call of Duty altogether and gone to other FPS titles. Others are banking on Black Ops 3 to save the day. Many people absolutely hated that you could fly so high with the exo suits in AW, as well as get kills using laser-powered rifles. The boosts and such in Black Ops 3 are much more subtle than the over-the-top movements that players experienced in Advanced Warfare. For those that love the Black Ops series, BO3 will be a great addition to the line. Both new and seasoned players will benefit from using a CoD Black Ops 3 guide to help them get started in the game.
As if enhanced movement abilities and a whole new class system wasn't enough, Black Ops 3 has a few more additions as well. Gunsmith is a nifty new addition that makes it possible to view weapons in a 3D atmopshere as well as make custom designs to stick on the sides of a gun and more. All of these brand-new features will definitely help Black Ops 3 feel like a new game. Lots of players are in the mindset that Call of Duty games are nearly all copy-and-paste jobs just with slightly different maps and guns. BO3, on the other hand, has a lot more to offer than that.
Love it or hate it, there are plenty of gamers that are excited for CoD: Black Ops 3 to hit shelves later this year. The only real competition the new Call of Duty title faces this holiday season is the new Star Wars Battlefront title being made by DICE.
